first day we met you, You filled our hearts with joy
Arriving home on Jonno's lap making him a very happy boy
You grew so fast and loved us so much that was evident from the start
Even Jet our little Staffy loved you with all her heart.
The good times
you gave us, the laughs we all had
We never had to tell you off, you were never ever bad.
You barked to protect us from things not often there
A ploy to get a bickie as you knew just where they were.
You looked
after all our other dogs keeping them safe and in their place
Playing in the garden having great fun with a chase.
Or sitting at our fire side with that look upon your face.
Our beautiful gentle giant full of elegance and grace.
No more hair all over carpets, no more drool all over walls
Nothing much left to remind us, you were ever here at all.
I've kept your favorite Teddy, it will stay beside my bed
Always to remind me where you used to lay your head.
No more going
to the beach with Chrissy No more nudging Charley to be fed
No more lying on your mummy's feet or pushing me out of bed.
We will never ever forget you, our families gem and pearl
But to me, my great big darling, you will always be Daddy's Big Girl.
